How the clinic is organised

Four decisions that shape how a visit feels here

These are not slogans. They are structural choices in how appointments, diagnostics and pricing are set up, and they explain why the process may feel different from a typical outpatient visit.

Same-day slots are held back deliberately

A portion of each day's schedule is reserved and only released the same morning, specifically for acute complaints such as infections, injuries or sudden pain that cannot reasonably wait for next week.

Lab and imaging results stay in one file

Because blood work, ultrasound and X-ray are performed on-site, results are attached directly to your record instead of arriving separately by post or a different portal weeks later.

Consultations run in several languages

Clinical staff conduct appointments in Polish, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so that describing symptoms does not depend on finding the right words in a second language under stress.

Prices are set before you walk in

A published list covers consultations, tests and packages. If a doctor recommends something outside the initial plan, its price is confirmed with you before it is carried out.

A closer look at each part of the visit

01 · General Practice

Consultations built around listening first

A general practice visit at Gizeru Clinic typically begins with an unhurried conversation about symptoms, history and daily context, before any examination takes place. This matters because many acute complaints, from persistent headaches to seasonal infections, are explained as much by circumstance as by physiology.

Where a same-day slot is needed, the same structure applies. The appointment is simply moved earlier in the schedule rather than shortened, since a rushed consultation tends to produce less useful information for the doctor and the patient alike.

02 · Diagnostics

Laboratory and imaging under the same roof

Blood panels, urine analysis, ultrasound scanning and basic X-ray imaging are all performed within the clinic building. This shortens the distance between a doctor's question and its answer: a sample can move to the laboratory within minutes rather than requiring a referral to an external facility.

Turnaround time still depends on the test itself. Routine blood counts are usually processed the same day, while more specialised panels may take longer, and this is explained at the point of ordering rather than left vague.

03 · Specialist Consultations

A referral pathway that stays inside one building

When a general practitioner recommends a specialist opinion, such as dermatology, cardiology or endocrinology, scheduling happens from within the same visit wherever possible. The referring doctor's notes and any diagnostic results travel with the patient record automatically.

This does not shorten waiting periods for less urgent specialties, which still depend on that specialist's calendar. It does remove the administrative step of transferring documents between separate providers.

04 · Health Check-Up Packages

Preventive check-ups grouped by purpose, not by discount

Rather than a single generic package, check-ups are grouped by reason: a general wellbeing panel, a cardiovascular-focused set of tests, and an occupational screening bundle aimed at employment or insurance requirements. Each grouping lists exactly which tests and consultations it includes.

Results are reviewed with a general practitioner afterward, so the paperwork is accompanied by an actual conversation about what the numbers mean for that particular patient.

Transparent pricing

The price list is published, not negotiated at the desk

Every consultation type, laboratory test, imaging study and check-up package appears on a single public price list, updated whenever costs change. There is no separate "walk-in" rate and no price that depends on how a conversation goes.

If, during a visit, a doctor suggests an additional test that was not part of the original plan, its cost is confirmed with the patient before it proceeds. Nothing is added to an invoice retroactively without that conversation happening first.

For patients living or visiting from abroad

Care that does not depend on translating for yourself

A meaningful share of patients arrive from outside Poland, whether living in Warsaw long-term or visiting briefly. The clinic's structure accounts for that from scheduling through to discharge notes.

Consultations in your language

Appointments can be conducted in English, Ukrainian or Russian in addition to Polish, depending on the doctor's schedule, confirmed when booking.

Documents in English

Discharge summaries, referral letters and laboratory reports are available in English on request, useful for onward care or insurance claims abroad.

Costs confirmed before travel

Because pricing is public, patients arranging a visit from another city or country can review consultation and package costs before booking.

Central, easy to reach

The clinic sits in central Warsaw, chosen deliberately so patients staying in hotels or short-term flats can reach it without a long transfer.
